Breeders Award‎ > ‎

Requirements

Breeding points will be awarded after proof of spawning and submission of a completed Breeder Award Program entry form. One point will be awarded for each species spawned. Points are awarded by species only. Any questionable entry must be approved by the Breeder Award Program Chairman.  In this program breeding is defined as the physical act of spawning as a result of the care offered by the member submitting an entry. The fry, or young, must be raised to a large enough size to be offered for sale (even though they may not be sold as part of the Breeder Award Program).  A minimum of 5 of the entered species is required unless approved by the Breeder Award Program Chairman. For example, Synodontis multipunctatuswill generally have less than 5 young, so a smaller entry of them would likely be accepted.  A member has the option of showing the fry/young, to the B.A.P. chairman and paying a $5.00 fee instead of putting the fish in the auction.
